Every year on 3^rd March Bulgaria is celebrating its National Liberation Day. On that day in every Bulgarian town there are big celebration in order to honor those who lost their lives for the freedom of the country. In Sofia the President holds a solemn speech, the Patriarch serves a special liturgy in the St. Aleksandar Nevski Cathedral. In the evening there is a magnificent fireworks followed by celebrations.
